ADAS Calibration

As modern vehicles become smarter & safer, Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) continue to have a bigger part to play. ADAS are a group of safety systems designed to automate and improve vehicle safety. The system uses cameras & sensors to alert the driver of potential hazards ahead and helps prevent accidents.

ADAS features include:

  • Autonomous emergency braking (AEB)
  • Lane departure warnings (LDW)
  • Lane assist
  • Park assist
  • Night vision cameras
  • Adaptive lighting
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Adaptive headlights
  • Blind spot awareness
  • Traffic sign recognition

With ADAS now an integral part of many people’s safe driving experience, keeping the system properly maintained is critical. ADAS systems are sensitive and often need to be re-calibrated following:

  • A collision or bump
  • Removal or replacement of the vehicle’s windscreen
  • Repair, removal or replacement of the bumpers (or surrounding areas)
